Kathy Provost
Managing Director, Account Management
Kathy found her passion for recruiting in 2000, after a career in training and development and HR consulting. She began as a corporate contract recruiter for medical device clients, founded her own medical device recruiting practice, and then joined Agile Search in 2017. Kathy has a degree in History from Dartmouth College and a Master’s in Education with a concentration in Organization Development from Antioch University. Her current area of interest is the onboarding process and how managers can leverage the unique skills of their new hires to increase retention.
Prior to joining the recruiting field, Kathy had a stint as a personal historian offering her services to individuals who wanted to capture their stories in a personal memoir. She carries this experience with her into recruiting, as she believes everyone has his or her “story” that reveals key motivators which she is eager to learn.
John Compton
President
John is a former Army Officer and graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point. Aside from the US Army’s Ranger School, one of the most unique experiences John ever had, was working in the Center for Enhanced Performance at the US Military Academy where he learned the principles of maximizing human performance and potential. After transitioning from the military, John worked in corporate for a few years before earning an MBA from Babson’s School of Entrepreneurship. He launched his own recruiting practice, Agile Search Inc., in Boston in 2005.
